Different types of galactic beings

The wide variety of races in the galactic community

In the Star-{gate|Trek|Wars} films we’re used to seeing human actors running around with funny rubber masks on. In more recent blockbuster films using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery), such as Alien or Avatar, we at least have aliens which look realistically different to the bipedal body plan. Sadly, a lot of them look like they’ll eat you for breakfast. The truth is much more varied, and looks remarkably peaceful (if you can see past the differentness of form to the essence of the beings). By my own experience the galactic community includes:

  • Bipedal beings – some more or less mammalian, some with features more reminiscent of reptiles, and of various types of thermoregulation. The few spacefaring races are, to my knowledge, all of this type, as hands are needed for manipulation.
  • Quadrupedal beings – I was connected with one remarkably like a panther.
  • Aquatic societies – I don’t remember connecting with any (water is not my element) but I feel sure (second-hand knowledge) that there are some.
  • Otherworldly beings – Beings for which the Earth has nothing remotely equivalent – I had a very strong and moving connection with a race built a bit like large flattened tortoises, with a digestive tract for processing earth, much as worms do.
  • Hive minds – I noticed one while assisting a starseed friend with a regression to her roots. That was fascinating, all these insects buzzing around and each one contributing only minimal ‘brain power’, but the whole, via PTST, a single conscious and intelligent entity.
  • Beings of pure energy – it was from one such that I took on the name Elisius. In another experience I perceived energy beings floating around the lower atmosphere of a planet, somewhat like very small clouds. For material beings such as ourselves it’s a weird feeling to vicariously slip through the body of another individual. But they do, and it feels for them both natural and welcomely intimate.

Maybe you’re sceptical about the energy beings – I point out that humans have traditionally been very good at thinking that things remote from their own experience can’t exist. And then, when they were discovered, or our world view or understanding of science moved on, then suddenly they might or did exist, after all. I can only say that my perception was repeated and clear on this point, and that a few of my friends perceived such beings also. The energy level exists at a level from which our spacetime emerges, but since we also are rooted in that foundational level, we can perceive it.

Joy and sorrow always go hand in hand

My PTST connection to galactic affairs brought not only happy things – in real life, joy and sorrow always go hand in hand. The most shocking experience I had at that level was of a planet where a spacefaring race (not those described above) was very discretely nurturing the beings evolving there. But one day, a comet ploughed into their solar system, on a collision course with that world – and the few spaceships there had not enough thrust or time to deflect it. So through the eyes of one of their people on the planet, I witnessed an impact similar to that which on Earth wiped out the dinosaurs, or even a bit worse. I saw the fireball of the impact rolling towards me from the horizon, obliterating everything in its path. I cannot begin to describe the depths of sorrow at that witnessing.

When confronted with such things – and we have more than enough happening here on earth – I find it helpful to remind myself to step back and remember that Existence is playing out, with all its inevitable ups and downs, triumphs and setbacks, and to not get caught up in one particular episode or event. Rest in Being.
